Get ready for some Christmas mischief! A pair of jingling emus are flocking to Newport over two Saturdays this December, bringing their giant, colourful emu puppets, cheeky riders and plenty of festive fun.
Adored by humans of all ages, these spectacular feathered friends are quite the sight to behold. With their jingling bells, colourful costumes and mischievous antics, you never know what they'll get up to next! Catch them pecking about, parading through the streets and spreading Christmas cheer as they visit our local traders.
There will be face painters in both precincts for the full duration of each event, a balloon artist, lollies and little Christmas-themed giveaways for the kids. And for the grown-ups, there'll be loads of gift vouchers and goodies from our Newport traders up for grabs.
