Outlets Co-op Neighbourhood House, also known as the Newport Community Education Centre, is a vibrant, not-for-profit, community-led organisation at the heart of Newport. Since 1973, we have been a cornerstone of social connection, support, education, and community development, proudly serving the local area for over 50 years. Our programs and activities include skill-building and recreational courses in computers, digital devices, English language, employment skills, and more. We also offer flexible CCS-subsidised childcare and a variety of community and social support services, making us a welcoming hub for personal growth and community wellbeing.
