In 2017, Solar Window Filmers founder and environmental enthusiast, Veronica, learned that window tint would not only blocks 99% of the sun's UV rays, but also reduce fading to her new floorboards. Amazed by the benefits (significant heat & glare reduction), she jumped ship from corporate training to spread the word about Environmental Window Film.
Since then, Veronica has extensively researched ways to make buildings more energy efficient, and discovered the benefits of upgrading existing windows with film, rather than replacing them – retrofitting for energy efficiency. The thermal performance of all glazing (including double glazing) can be improved with the addition of insulating window film.
Finding her niche, she committed to learning about the best Solar & Thermal control Window Films on the market, and with the help of Melbourne's best installers, has learned the art of installation, while qualifying as a licensed Window Energy Rating for Film assessor.

I help stressed, careworn people to relax, recover and re-connect.
I am well aware of the stresses of work life and modern living, having suffered most of them, and I like to think that this has given me a practical and common-sense attitude to life.
The clients I have worked with in the 15 years working as a professional reflexologist have taught me that the central nervous system is the key to wellness. I use Reflexology to calm the Stress Response and activate the Parasympathetic nervous system: the “Rest, Repair and Recover” Response. This helps the client to slow the heart rate, increase intestinal and glandular activity, and to stimulate their immune systems.
Essentially, I am helping my clients to help themselves.

At Say It Sister, we’re all about celebrating style with substance.
We love style. As a team of busy mums juggling life, work and kids, it’s what brings a bit of ‘pizazz’ into our day, - the feel good factor that helps us express who we are as individuals. And that’s why we are passionate about selecting quality products that enhances, inspires and propels us all to walk down the street strutting our stuff.
But like any good woman or sister, you can’t have style without substance. It’s not just about how we look or what we sell, it’s more than that. At ‘Say it Sister’, we want it to be a place where you can escape, kick off your heals (or runners) and dance like a mad woman. A place where you can be safe in the knowledge that we won’t sell you something that makes you look like a sack of potatoes. A place where you can just browse, have a natter and walk out the door without being made to feel like you need to buy a pair of unwanted earrings.
So as we always say, - you might not always find what you want, but just by popping in, you might come out with just what you needed.
Happy shopping, Sister

The Substation is the nation’s leader in multi-arts and experimental practice. We connect our continent’s most diverse local communities in Naarm/Melbourne’s west to the world through a program of international, national and local presentation, development and engagement opportunities.
Constructed over a century ago (1915) to power Melbourne’s suburban rail system, The Substation building is a landmark in the industrial history of the inner west of the city. Through the determination and hard work of a group of local residents, The Substation building was successfully restored as Hobsons Bay Community Arts Centre (2008), before formally adopting the name The Substation and being reimagined as one of the country’s most significant homes for contemporary and experimental arts – a cultural precinct with national and international critical acclaim.
The spirit that propelled those local heroes through its transformation remains imbued in the site today. Amplifying artworks that transcend form, The Substation’s multi-artform spaces are illuminated with the most urgent contemporary arts to inspire us to refigure problematic histories, imagine possible futures, and forge new connections.

At The Music Playground, play-based group classes for children aged 0-5 offer a unique blend of the Suzuki, Kodály and Orff approach, widely renowned as the best ways to teach music to young children. Babies under six months can attend for free.
Instrument lessons start from three years old. There is a strong emphasis on creativity, excellence in technique, and a playful approach, because children and adults learn best when they're having fun.
Learning music at The Playground is much more than learning an instrument. It’s about developing the whole person by making music with friends. Singing and moving to the beat helps children internalise music, making learning an instrument easier, so children attend private lessons as well as the weekly group class. Adult lessons are also available.

At Stretch Club we have a clear mission: to fill the gap in the fitness market for people 30+ who are active, but suddenly making more noise getting off the couch than they’d like to admit! We like to say we’re the class that gets you to your other classes, and back to the stuff you love doing in life.
Stretch Club isn’t a gym, yoga studio or rehab clinic. We’re something new. Born from our own frustration with chronic pain and a lack of real solutions, we created Stretch Club for a hugely overlooked demographic – people who want to maintain their health, not chase six-packs.
Our 30-minute group stretch classes are focused on mobility and longevity. We cut the fluff, skip the incense and focus on helping people move well, feel good and stay active long-term.
Our unique 10-week class cycle covers different body systems and science-backed stretch styles each week, e.g. long hold stretching, movement-based stretching, spine reset, and joint mobility. ‘Homework’ is a key part of our offering, (but only for 5 mins a day!) encouraging participants to stretch daily at home, and teaching them about the benefits of microhabits and habit stacking, as well as the most effective stretches.
